Bring healing and hope back into your life
Jessica Brohmer, LMFT Grief Counseling Specialist
You remember a time, maybe just a few days ago, maybe decades ago, before you really knew about grief. Those days feel so distant now.
You’ve come to the right place.
I’m Jessica, and I help people who are going through the pain of loss just like you: people who have it within them to heal and move forward but just need the support to get there.
I help my clients find answers to (or at least dialogue with) the big existential questions that come up around grief, explore their emotions and memories related to the loss, and find new hope and meaning for the future.
Much of the focus on grief today tends to be centered around death. While death is of course painful, those who have gone through non-death losses can feel left out of the conversation or like their grief isn’t enough. I know that your circumstances are unique, so whether you’re navigating a death or another form of loss, I know your grief and grieving process is valid.
First, we get comfortable talking about your loss- after all, that’s the reason you are here. Then, we’ll go through grief counseling techniques designed to help you process your memories and the emotions they hold. Through our work together, you’ll be equipped to navigate the ups and downs of grieving.
I am dedicated to helping people grieve well.
My training as a grief counseling specialist means I have the expertise you need and deserve when you’re facing a loss that’s knocked you off your feet. But at the end of the day, you want to know you’re working with someone who gets what it means to be a person going through a major loss, right?
I get it because I’ve been on my own journeys of loss. While no two losses are the same and my grief will never compare to anyone else’s, I know that it takes a lot of support to get through it well. So when we work together, you won’t just get a trained therapist, you’ll get someone who understands.
